As many of you know, breast cancer is very close to my heart as my mother passed away from this disease when I was very young.  had she been diagnosed today, she most likely would have survived, due to the recent advances in both detection and tratment.  It is my sincere hope that by the time my granddaughters are adults, this disease will be eradicated, or at the very least, easy to detect and cure.

According to Wikipedia, Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), also referred to in America as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.

This yearly campaign, which starts on October 1st and ends on October 31st, works to educate people about the importance of early screening, testing, check-ups and more.

Once again, we are urging all of our friends, family, and customers to be diligent in their exams, both self-exams and doctor exams, and proactive in taking charge of your own health.  This “awareness month” should serve as a reminder to all of us (men and women) to make our doctor’s appointments and take care of ourselves and our health.

Many of the bras that we sell at DreamProuducts.com are sold to surgeons across the U.S. that use our bras post operatively.  I remember speaking with the nursing staff at a doctor’s office, when I was told that the front hooks make it very easy for the staff to put the bra on the patient immediately following surgery, and the softness of the material make them ideal for the sensitive skin after surgery.  Often times women must wear a bra 24 hours a day following surgery and ours are comfortable enough to be able to do that.

Take a moment to look at The Doctor’s Choice Bra and the Sleep Bra that we offer.

These bras are great for everyone, not just those who have had surgery.  The front hooks make them easy to put on and take off, and the wide comfortable straps and full coverage backs will quickly make them a favorite of yours too! In addition, the cups stretch to conform to monthly fluctuations, pregnancy and/or weight gain or loss.

Wishing you and your family the best of health and happiness this October!

Stay Safe!
